FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION
Everything you need to know
UV 99 is designed for framing projects where maximum UV protection is the priority, but anti-reflective performance is not required. It delivers conservation-grade protection while maintaining the familiar appearance of regular glass.
The UV-protective coating is applied to one side of the glass. The coated side is identified by a label near the edge of the sheet, making it easy for framers to recognise during handling and installation.
UV 99 is made on standard float glass, giving it the familiar appearance of traditional framing glass. Float glass has a subtle natural green tone, while other Artglass products are based on low-iron glass, which minimizes this green tint and provides a more colour-neutral view.
