Riga International Airport
In a busy airport environment, passengers depend on flight information being clear and immediately readable. Reflections from surrounding light and the display itself can interfere with visibility, increasing the risk of confusion and delays.
Groglass partnered with Riga International Airport to upgrade one of the central flight information displays in RIX Terminal C. The teams assessed the display requirements together and selected a two-sided Sapphire anti-reflective glass configuration.

AFTER
The solution was designed to:
Reduce reflections from both the airport environment and the screen.
Improve the readability of flight information in bright conditions.
Increase light transmission, allowing the display to operate at lower brightness.
Provide a smooth, durable surface that is easy to clean and maintain.
The installation gives passengers and visitors an opportunity to see Sapphire performance in a real public environment, where visibility, durability and reliable access to key information are essential. It also illustrates how anti-reflective glass can support the design and functionality of electronic displays in airports and other high-traffic spaces.
