Casa di Goethe
Located in the historic center of Rome, Casa di Goethe is a museum dedicated to Johann Wolfgang Goethe’s Italian journey and German-Italian cultural exchange. As part of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar, the museum preserves and presents important works, documents, and objects connected to Goethe’s time in Italy and the cultural relationships that developed from it.
Artglass AR 92 was used for the exhibition “Italy in Lines. Master Drawings by Christoph Heinrich Kniep (1755–1825)”, dedicated to the artist and draughtsman who accompanied Goethe during his famous journey to Sicily.
For the presentation of these historically significant works on paper, Artglass AR 92 provided the optical performance required in a museum environment, combining exceptional clarity with anti-reflective properties to allow visitors to experience the artworks without distracting reflections.
The use of Artglass AR 92 at Casa di Goethe demonstrates how high-performance glazing supports museums and cultural institutions in presenting valuable collections with the clarity and quality required for professional exhibitions.
