Rundāle Palace Museum
Rundāle Palace Museum is one of the Baltic region's most important Baroque museums, attracting more than 125 000 visitors annually. Renowned for its historic palace, collections, and French garden, the museum regularly hosts exhibitions that bring together significant works from Latvia and across Europe.
For the exhibition "The Allure of Flowers", the museum created an immersive exploration of the role of flowers in art, history, and culture.
The exhibition featured works from the Rundāle Palace Museum collection alongside loans from leading European institutions, including the Rijksmuseum (Amsterdam), Het Loo Palace Museum (Apeldoorn), Het Noordbrabants Museum, Borys Voznytskyi Lviv National Art Gallery, and M. K. Čiurlionis National Art Museum.
To create an exhibition environment that combined visual excellence with the protection of valuable objects, the museum selected 6 mm Artglass Protect for a custom display showcase. The glazing provided the strength, safety, and optical quality required for displaying museum objects while preserving an exceptional viewing experience.
This project demonstrates how museum-grade glazing supports major cultural institutions in creating exhibition spaces that meet the highest standards of presentation and protection for artworks from multiple international collections.
